After last year’s PPS golf day was cancelled due to COVID, this year we came back better than ever!
With the weather reaching temperatures of 27 °C, it was the perfect day for it. After 18 holes, our 28 players returned to the clubhouse for the award ceremony, presented by Ian Harrison, PPS Managing Director.
The individual winner, for the fourth time in a row was Matthew Robinson. The ‘nearest the pin’ award went to our very own Alan Kerr and the longest drive was won by Andrew Leedham. The winning team was Jez Webster, Mark Webster, Neil Rawnsley and Colin McGlue. The Dave Deakin memorial trophy went to PPS founder Gary Whitaker.
Our traditional raffle raised nearly £300 for Overgate Hospice. The hospice based in Elland provides care for people in Calderdale, as well as support for family and carers.
A big thank you to Atlas Copco as always, for helping with the supply of ball and trophies.
Thank you to everyone who took part, and congratulations to all of our winners. We go again next year!
