The Humber has long been recognised as a dynamic and industry-leading region and Norman Walker has now joined one of its most powerful business networks, Marketing Humber, as a Business Partner Bondholder.

Why join Marketing Humber?

Norman Walker is a key supplier of air compressors and pneumatics, operating since 1930. Membership will not only provide an opportunity for us to re-establish the Norman Walker name in the Humber region, but will also allow us to give back to the industry by promoting the skills and opportunities within the Humber area.

The values of professionalism, customer service and quality, instilled in everything we do, are strongly reflected in Marketing Humber’s approach and member group.

Additionally, Marketing Humber provides a wide range of events, activities and other opportunities for its stakeholders, including marketing resources and social media reach.

What are the aims of Marketing Humber?

The organisation acts as a catalyst to build an ambitious economic plan that will contribute to the future sustainability of the region.

Bondholders are recognised as successful and progressive businesses, and Marketing Humber works closely with its stakeholders to create ambitious ideas and projects that provide opportunities for investment and growth. This includes hosting promotional events and activities, knowledge-sharing, building advocacy, representing businesses to local authorities and other influential bodies, and providing marketing resources.

Marketing Humber also runs a Young Talent Network with networking, self-improvement and industry insight events for apprentices, graduates and other future leaders.

Moving towards Net Zero

The region is leading on the transition to Net Zero, and Marketing Humber’s ground-breaking Waterline campaign is a key part of this.

The campaign brings together the University of Hull and Marketing Humber Bondholders to work on initiatives that reduce carbon emissions. This is particularly important in an area that will be one of the first places in the UK to experience the impact of rising sea levels.
