PPS team supports local charities

Kim Martlew |

This Christmas, the PPS team came together to support local charities, spreading festive cheer and making a difference in our communities. In Brighouse and Sheffield, colleagues volunteered their time to help two incredible charities, Focus4Hope and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, both located close to our branches.

In Brighouse, the team joined Focus4Hope’s Big Christmas Project, collecting donations from local businesses and packing hampers for families in need. Meanwhile, in Sheffield, our colleagues supported Bluebell Wood at Crystal Peaks market, selling festive items and promoting their Christmas tree recycling campaign.

About the charities:

  • Focus4Hope supports vulnerable people across West Yorkshire, including those who are homeless, elderly, isolated, or facing hardship. They provide vital services such as food banks, social supermarkets, and community hubs.
  • Bluebell Wood offers care and support to children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, helping families create precious memories together.

We’re proud to play a small part in the incredible work these charities do every day. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped spread festive cheer!
